The Faculty & Staff Campaign for the University of South Florida is a fundraising effort that allows you, the employees of USF, to make a gift to the area of your choice at the University. These gifts stay at USF, and make a lasting impact in each area that you choose to support.
Dr. Lynette J. Menezes Director, International Programs and Asst. Professor College of Medicine

"When you give back to the University, you become part of a movement that will build the future leaders of our global community"

Dr. Lynette Menezes gives to scholarships for Public Health because she wants to help students receive a good education, which will get them that much closer to accomplishing their goals and reaching their dreams. She explains that "reaching your dream requires not only talent, intelligence and determination but also a solid education."

Dr. Menezes believes that giving back not only accomplishes a financial purpose, but it also serves as an example to others. "My husband Marian and I believe that our giving will inspire students to give back when it is their turn, thus starting a movement of giving back to the university."

She also supports the university's fundraising efforts by giving to International Infectious Disease Research and Training for medical students. Dr. Menezes explains that "Universities are not just places of scholarly activity. They are a vibrant part of our local, national and global community. A university can hardly provide intellectually stimulating environments or emotionally rewarding experiences for students without the support of the community."
