Dwayne Isaacs Assistant Director of Student Life and Engagement USF St. Petersburg

“This university has made me into the man I am today.”

Dwayne Isaacs grew up in Miami, FL, both parents born and raised in Jamaica. He attended the great University of South Florida, graduating in 2005 with an undergraduate degree in Business Administration with a focus on Business Management. He even received a Master of Education degree in Student Affairs from USF, class of 2009.

Currently the Assistant Director of Student Life and Engagement at USF St. Petersburg, Dwayne is responsible for overseeing the brand new University Student Center. He handles a great deal for the center, but his main responsibilities include the daily management and operations of the facility, including reservation and conference services, policy and procedure development and oversight, all financial operations, and staff supervision.

The USF System has changed his life in immeasurable ways. “It has given me invaluable life skills, exceptional professional development opportunities, and the opportunity to discover who I am and the impact I can have on the world around me. This university has made me into the man I am today.” What exactly inspires Dwayne to give back? “Knowing that my gifts help to make the USF experience for our students a more meaningful one.”
