During his time as an adjunct professor in the College of Arts & Sciences and Bishop Center for Ethical Leadership at USF St. Petersburg, Terry Tomalin inspired and uplifted countless students. Terry had a passion for educating students about Florida history and teaching them invaluable leadership skills, which led to forming strong connections and respect from his students. He provided students at USFSP with his extensive knowledge in the field of journalism from his career at the Tampa Bay Times, as well as taught students leadership skills through his love for the outdoors in the Outdoor Leadership Program.
With your help, this scholarship in memory of Terry will be able to provide financial support to a USF St. Petersburg student who will have the opportunity to be a part of the Florida Studies and Outdoor Leadership family, that he nurtured.
Your support of this scholarship will not only positively impact our students, but it will ensure the legacy of Terry Tomalin continues to be felt at USFSP, as his presence will continue to shape our students.
We ask that you also share this opportunity to help raise funds for the Terry Tomalin Memorial Scholarship with your family, friends and colleagues, to help us spread the word about the impact Terry had at USFSP and how we are going to honor his memory.
